Snorkeling & Walking Tour.
This tour is started with a small boat having capacity for 15 persons, a captain and a local guide. You will be taken to the surroundings of the Cahuita National Park which with the highest biodiversity per square meter in the different ecosystems on land and in the sea. Participants have the opportunity to snorkel for around 2 hours in the most important coral reef of Costa Rica and with a bit of luck lots of different species can be observed: corals, tropical fish, sharks, moray eels, sea urchins, univalves, crustaceans, algae, sea turtles, sea cucumbers, sea sponges, lobster, and shrimp, amongst others.
After the snorkeling experience, the second part of the tour begins: a hike towards between Punta Cahuita and the town of Cahuita (about 5 km) where guests have the chance to overseer different species of snakes, sloths, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, anteaters, armadillos, racoons, morpho butterflies and others, as well as numerous types of birds.This tour includes a fruit snack, the provision of snorkeling equipment, a bilingual guide, lunch, round-trip transportation and water.
