With the Aventuras Tierra Verde Open Voucher Program, you can explore this natural paradise freely. There are no fixed routes, so you create your own adventure.

We will arrange your airport pickup and the first night in San José. We also handle your rental car handover for your convenience.

Afterward, you can plan the rest of your trip based on your preferences. Choose from many accommodations across the country.

This wide selection gives you maximum flexibility. We will send you information about your included accommodations after you confirm your booking.

On arrival, you will receive a list of vouchers for your stay (excluding the first night in San José). Present these vouchers at each accommodation according to your planned days.

Welcome to Costa Rica!

At the airport, our driver will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in San Jose.

At the hotel, a representative will welcome you. They will provide your vouchers and explain all the services included in the Aventuras Tierra Verde Open Voucher Program.

Expert tips:

An arrival transfer will be scheduled at the arrival time of your international flight.
1-night accommodation, standard room, breakfast included (Aventuras Tierra Verde pre-books this night’s accommodation).

The Aventuras Tierra Verde Open Voucher program offers you the flexibility to design your own itinerary, explore Costa Rica at your own pace, and choose where and for how many nights to stay.

Please note:

Aventuras Tierra Verde is not responsible for making reservations; contact hotels directly via phone, email, or use the provided hotel list.
On your arrival day, you will receive a list of vouchers—one for each night of your trip (excluding the first night). These vouchers should be handed to each accommodation depending on your stay.
Remember to present one voucher per night per room at each hotel and keep them safe throughout your trip.

End Of Itinerary

It’s time to say goodbye to this paradise!

You will return your rental vehicle to the airport office of your car rental company. From there, you will be provided with a shared transfer to Juan Santamaria International Airport.

For your last night, we recommend staying at a hotel near San José Airport to ensure a timely car return and smooth check-in at the airport.

The rental car will be returned at the designated location, and the shuttle transfer to the airport will be arranged by the rental car company.

What is the duration of the voucher program?

The duration of the 8-days open voucher trip program corresponds to the days after arrival in the country, it is managed as 7 nights of lodging.

Are there any restrictions on the type of vehicles available for rental?

The type of vehicle is according to the number of people and the rental company that has availability on the dates reserve.

At the time of final confirmation from our agent, the model of the vehicle would be specified.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance or can I use the voucher on a walk-in basis?

It is our first recommendation, to book in advance, as it guarantees you the space and the route you want to do in the country.

What are the terms and conditions regarding insurance coverage?

At the moment of receiving the confirmation of the trip, our agent will send you the documentation about the insurances included.

Also there is the possibility to buy additional insurances directly when you receive the vehicle.

Are there any additional fees or taxes associated with using the voucher?

No, except in case of upgrades in the hotel category due to availability or additional charges for children traveling as well, additional food.

These must be arranged directly with the respective hotel.

Do you offer more Open Voucher Options?

Yes!! We also offer the 15-day Open Voucher Trip and the 22-day Open Voucher Trip.
