Welcome to Costa Rica!
Upon arrival at San José Airport, our driver will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in the city. Upon arrival at the hotel a representative will be waiting for you, during this meeting we will explain you the details of your trip as well as expert tips.

Autentico Hotel is located in the capital of Costa Rica. Its proximity to the main shopping centers, airports, museums, national parks and malls allows guests to combine culture, nature and cosmopolitan activities all at once. You start your Costa Rica adventure with a trip to the “little Amazon of Costa Rica”.
Early morning pick-up from your city hotel. Drive through the Braulio Carillo National Park to the Atlantic coast. On the way, stop for a hearty breakfast in Guapiles. Then drive through extensive banana plantations to the boat landing stage. There you change to a motorboat, which takes you across the main canal through the Tortuguero region to a rustic but comfortable lodge situated on a spit of land between the canal and the sea.
If you wish, you can visit the picturesque Caribbean village of Tortuguero with the local guide after lunch and then return to the lodge.
The rest of the day is at leisure.

Aninga Lodge Tortuguero is surrounded by a network of picturesque canals and offers accommodation in San José, Costa Rica, near the extraordinary Tortuguero National Park. The lodge has 33 comfortable and spacious bungalows with private bathrooms, hot water and ceiling fans. You can enjoy your meals in the lodge’s own restaurant. The lodge also has a spa with relaxing massage treatments.
Today you will visit the world-famous Tortuguero National Park by boat, one of the most important habitats of the green sea turtle, the leatherback turtle and the hawksbill turtle. Here you can admire tropical nature at its best: Caimans, crocodiles, poison dart frogs, monkeys and manatees are just a few examples of the overwhelming wildlife in Tortuguero. You will then explore the area around the lodge with a guide.
In the afternoon, you will go on a boat tour through the jungle canals of Tortuguero National Park.
After dinner, there is the option of a guided night hike to the beach to watch the sea turtles lay their eggs (season: July to September/October).

After breakfast, you return to the small river port by boat at around 9 am the next morning. After a trip through extensive banana plantations, you stop for a typical local lunch on the way. Pick up your rental car there and make your own way to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui.

The Buena Vista Lodge & Adventure Center is an eco-lodge in the Guanacaste Mountains of Costa Rica near the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Hiking to Las Pailas and Oropendula Waterfall Tour
After breakfast, the route alternates between wet forest, crossing several mountain streams, and dry and hot savannahs with little vegetation until you finally reach the “La Cangreja” waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip in the natural pools filled with clear turquoise blue water. Afterwards, you hike on to the main attractions of the national park in the Las Pailas sector: bubbling mud holes, geysers and stinking fumaroles (steaming fissures in the earth) give you an impressive insight into the natural forces of a volcano.
